Breakfast was so good you would eat till your belt popped open. Beautiful Coy Carp swimming through the restaurant area. The bar was an inspiration, great prices for drinks, chicken wings and they even put on Bon Jovi’s singalong music (may have embarrassed myself). There’s a great market over the road but be careful as they’re cunning in the sense that you’ll walk out with every amazing poncho in Cusco. shout out to the bar team for obvious reasons. Most importantly the front desk staff MVP’s, whom let me use their their phone to call the budget airline JetSmart who left me on hold for 90 minutes only to charge me an arm and leg for changing a flight during a National emergency. It’s a little out the way of town but we were heading on the Train to Puno the next day so this was a 2 minute walk. You could throw a llama from the hotel to the train station (that close).

Lovely hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Gabriela on reception was especially good and let us store our bags a day early so that we didn’t have to drag them up to Machu Picchu. The hotel is clean and bright, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. The waiters do a great job too. The room was comfortable and we were given various options to choose from depending on whether we wanted a bath / shower, and an internal or street facing room with balcony. Very quiet where we stayed. Only a 2 minute walk from Wanchaq train station, and 10-15 mins from the main square. There’s a great market directly opposite the hotel.

the Xima Exclusive Cusco was amazing! we originally booked the Wyndham as well and eventually decided on the Xima as the staff were way more helpful sorting out transfers to and from the airport and rail station. We could not have been more impressed. we spent over 3 weeks in Peru and this was our top hotel pick at the end of the trip. Staff our out of this world helpful, the rooms are clean, comfortable and nice! the food is great. Dinner and lunch are reasonably priced and the breakfast buffet including gluten free bar is the best we experienced in all of Peru! also.. the detox water.. INCREDIBLE!!

The hotel is very modern. Well equipped. The room was nice and even had a bathtub. The heater really helped me during cold nights. The breakfasts they serve are the best ones I had through all my trip in Peru and Bolivia. Really, really good. The location it's good. Walking distance to the center but not in a crowded area. The windows look inside the inner patio so it's not noisy. Rooms have good sound isolation. I couldn't here my neighbors.

This location is 10 blocks from the main historical center, A safe and easy walk. There are several restaurants close by and a large artisan market. If you are looking for a quiter surrounding this is a great location. If you want to be in the middle of all the shops and restaurants, it I s 20 minute walk away. Very clean, incredible staff, well run and organized. I felt safe as a solo traveler. Close taxi ride to railroad station
